How does Stump removal work?
The root systems of trees can be vast and in order to preserve lawn and landscapes and minimize impact on your property these subterranean roots are kept intact (don’t worry, they die off once the stump is gone!) that’s why grinding takes place approx 1-2’ out from the circumference of the stump and about 12-15” deep to ensure full removal. Anticipate a mound of dirt or mulch where the stump was at the end. All mulch/dirt from stump removal is backfilled into the hole and the surrounding area raked and blown.
Note: If you’d like for this excess mulch/dirt to be hauled away please ask for a price upon estimation.
